David Toms, expected to be the US Captain for the Ryder Cup


The United States will announce their captain for the 2014 Ryder Cup, to be held at Gleneagles,  on Thursday.
David Toms, the 2001 PGA champion, is expected to succeed Davis Love as the US attempt to end a run of two defeats.
