Most kids have been teased by a sibling or a friend at some point, right? It is not usually harmful when done in a playful, friendly, and mutual ways, as well as kids find it funny. But when teasing becomes hurtful, unkind, and constant, it actually termed bullying and needs to stop. Bullying can leave deep emotional scars that last for life. And in extreme situations, it can culminate in violent threats, property damage, or someone getting seriously hurt.
Kids bully for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they target on kids because they need a victim or someone who seems emotionally or physically weaker. While there is no way to control what other children say or do to your child, there are ways to help your child deal with them.
