Food Allergy: Eggs, Milk, Peanuts Symptoms


Food allergies happen when someone’s immune system mistakenly believes that something the person ate is harmful to the body. When people have an unpleasant reaction to something they ate, they often think that they have an allergy to the food. Most common foods that lead to allergies are milk, eggs, and peanuts.
Egg Allergies
Egg allergies occur most often in children and usually determine at a very young age. This cause may be one or more proteins that you intake from egg, either yolk or white. Most people with egg allergy are allergic to proteins present in egg white.
Symptoms
  • Skin inflammation or hives
  • Allergic nasal inflammation
  • Digestive (gastrointestinal) symptoms, such as cramps, nausea and vomiting
  • Asthma signs and symptoms such as coughing, chest tightness or shortness of breath
