Gary Neal scoring 17 points as the San Antonio Spurs defeat the Indiana Pacers in 101-79 last Monday night, setting the franchise record for the best start to a season with their fourth straight win.
Tim Duncan contributed 14 points and 11 assists for the Spurs (4-0). DeJuan Blair added 14 points, Stephen Jackson 12 points, and also Danny Green added 10 points for the Spurs. San Antonio’s reserves outscored Indiana’s bench players 57-35.
The San Antonio Spurs never trailed by less than 10 points in the second half. The Indiana Pacers shot just 35 percent from the field in the game.
