Matthew McConaughey Prepares For A True-To-Life Movie And Gets Himself Thin

The macho actor, 42, has become somewhat unrecognizable since he’s been out in recent weeks, losing a massive 30 pounds to complement his role in an upcoming movie entitled The Dallas Buyer’s Club, based on a true story of a man who has been diagnosed with AIDS in the mid-1980s and seeks out an experimental HIV drug to help prolong his failing life.
In one photo, Matthew is captured very thin as he and her mother Kay McConaughey leaves a church in Austin, Texas. The actor appeared to be leaning for his mother’s support as if he seems to be extremely ill. Well, that just figures the point.
Matthew McConaughey told Larry King’s Ora TV series The Larry Now back in July when the actor had lost half the weight of 30 pounds, “I should not look healthy by the time I’m doing this.” McConaughey added, “It’s a bit of a spiritual cleanse, mental cleanse.
